Watch live: Nigel Farage testifies before House on European tech laws, censorship

Reform UK party leader Nigel Farage will be on Capitol Hill Wednesday morning to testify before the House Judiciary Committee on European technology laws and censorship.
House Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) invited the British member of parliament to Washington to speak during a hearing titled “Europe’s Threat to American Speech and Innovation,” specifically focused on the United Kingdom’s Online Safety Act — which places restrictions on media shared online.
The hearing comes after President Trump late last month threatened to slap additional tariffs on nations that maintained their digital taxes, contending they are detrimental to U.S. tech products and companies. It also follows Vice President Vance’s scolding of European leaders earlier this year on stifling free speech.
The event is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. EDT.
