Watch live: House Democratic leaders give remarks amid Epstein controversy

House Democratic leaders will speak to reporters Tuesday morning as those within the party air frustration with the Trump administration over files tied to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) and Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) have been among the most vocal critics of the Justice Department after a recent memo concluded Epstein did not keep a “client list” and confirmed that he died by suicide while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges in 2019.

President Trump has defended his administration’s handling of the case and urged concerned supporters to move on from the controversy.

The event is scheduled to begin at 10:45 a.m. EDT.
