Members of the conservative Republican Study Committee are slated to hold a news conference Monday afternoon marking the first anniversary of the assassination attempt against President Trump at a rally in Butler, Pa.

Sunday marked one year since Trump was bloodied in the assassination attempt, which served as a turning point for Trump both politically and personally. It also set off a reckoning at the Secret Service that is still playing out.

The Monday event is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. EDT.
