Democrats launch first ad blitz for Harris, Walz ticket

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) on Monday launched its first paid advertising blitz to promote their new presidential ticket of Vice President Harris and Gov. Tim Walz (D-Minn.).

The blitz will include an ad on a billboard in the middle of the Las Vegas strip, as well as ads on over 80 billboards across seven battleground states. The billboards will draw “the contrast between Vice President Harris’ bright vision for the future and Donald Trump’s weird campaign of lies and vengeance,” the DNC announced.

The Las Vegas and other billboards will include images of Harris and Walz with the caption, “fighting for you” and images of former President Trump and Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio) with the caption, “out for themselves.”

Billboards will also be visible in Pheonix and in Atlanta, Macon and Savannah, Ga. Additionally, they will be in Detroit and Grand Rapids, Mich., as well as Asheville, Charlotte, and Raleigh, N.C.

The DNC is also set to have the billboards in Reno, Nev., as well as Las Vegas, and Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Harrisburg, Pa. Billboars will also be placed in Milwaukee, Green Bay, and Eau Clare, Wisc.
