Counsel for Donald Trump has filed to dismiss the Manhattan District Attorney’s case against the former president, according to newly public court papers.
Defense attorneys are seeking to have the entire indictment dismissed over alleged discovery violations, per a letter to Acting Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan dated March 8, but made public Thursday. They are also requesting “severe sanctions” be leveled against the DA’s Office.
