New York Attorney General Letitia James has begun trolling former President Donald Trump over the mounting interest he may owe on his $355 million civil fraud judgment.
Trump, 77, was ordered to pony up the hefty sum — plus a 9% interest rate — after being found guilty earlier this month of inflating his wealth by billions to dupe banks and investors into helping him grow his real estate empire.
After the ex-prez lost a bid to postpone the Manhattan Supreme Court ruling last week, James quickly started taunting Trump by blasting out a tally of the money he potentially now owes.
“$464,576,230.62,” James wrote on X on Feb. 23.
But James didn’t stop there. The following day, the AG upped the figure, tweeting: “+$114,553.04.”
Then, on Sunday, James followed up with another post, writing: “+$114,553.04 = $464,805,336.70.”
James’ running tally appears to be based on the combined amount Trump and his co-defendants – including his sons Donald Jr. and Eric – were ordered to cough up when Justice Arthur Engoron handed down his Feb. 16 verdict in the civil case.
With interest, the combined $364 million figure had surged to $450 million, the AG’s office said at the time of the ruling.

Meanwhile, the AG’s repeated taunts come as Trump’s legal team on Monday filed a notice of appeal to overturn the “egregious” ruling, which also saw him banned from doing business in the Empire State for three years.
Under the bombshell ruling, Trump still has to fork over the mind-boggling fine even as he seeks to appeal the decision, the attorney general said.
James, whose office prosecuted the case, has already vowed not to shy away from going after Trump’s assets – including prized Big Apple properties like 40 Wall St. – in the event he can’t come up with the money or refuses to pay up.
The 45th president has long accused James of launching a political “witch hunt” after her office first brought the case against him in 2020.
In the wake of the verdict, Trump doubled down by slamming the decision as “election interference” – and claiming the justice system had been made into “weaponization against a political opponent.”
James, on her part, has denied having a “personal vendetta” against the former president.
