Trump Attorney Reposts 'This Country Needs a Lot More Women' Like Her Than Taylor Swift – The Messenger
When not crafting her legal defense for Donald Trump, attorney Alina Habba appears to enjoy instigating "bad blood" on social media.
On Monday, Habba shared an X (formerly Twitter) post to her Instagram Story comparing her to Taylor Swift, who has been outspoken in her disapproval of the twice-impeached former president.
"Who thinks this country needs a lot more women like Alina Habba, and a lot less like Taylor Swift?" reads the post.
The post comes after Trump gave his two cents on Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce's relationship in September. "I wish the best for both of them. I hope they enjoy their life, maybe together, maybe not — most likely not," he told Daily Caller.
U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan ruled last week that Trump pay $83.3 million to E. Jean Carroll, in addition to a separate $5 million sexual abuse and defamation judgment issued against him last year. After Habba kept contesting the ruling he issued, Kaplan threatened to hold her in contempt.
Since announcing his bid for the 2024 Republican nomination in November, Trump was named in his fourth criminal indictment in August, this time in Georgia, tied to the 2020 election.
