Former U.S. President Donald Trump’s lawyers missed a deadline to seek prompt permission from a New York court to challenge a gag order against Trump related to a $250 million civil fraud case. Justice Arthur Engoron imposed a gag order on October 3 to prevent Donald Trump from making comments about court staff, following numerous threats and harassing messages spawned by Trump’s remarks about a law clerk.
