Supporters from all over New England gathered in the Granite State for a chance to hear from former President Donald Trump.
On Saturday, Trump was greeted by hundreds of supporters from across the region during his event at Stevens High School in Claremont.
For some of Trump’s supporters, today was the first time they had ever seen him.
“We’re here for the excitement of it. Never seen a president in person,” said one supporter.
Many of Trump’s supporters waited in line for hours to hear the former president speak.
“I think he’s the most patriotic president we’ve ever had. I think he loves this country like nobody else,” said one supporter.
Many crowd-goers said Trump has already secured their vote ahead of the Republican primary.
“I love Donald Trump because he has no political correctness,” said another supporter.
Despite protestors attending Trump’s event on Saturday, his supporters greatly outnumbered the opposers.
“I own a small business before I retired, so those are the kind of people that are here. Those are the kind of people that support Trump. People who work for a living,” said one supporter.
