GOP rivals face off in third debate as Trump rallies in Florida: Live updates

Five Republican candidates will take the stage Wednesday night for the third GOP presidential debate in Miami, while front-runner former President Trump holds a rally also in south Florida.

Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis are set to clash as they look to solidify their position as the main alternative to Trump. They will be joined by entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Sen. Tim Scott (S.C.).

The debate will kick off at 8 p.m., with Lester Holt, Kristen Welker and Hugh Hewitt moderating.
