ABC News reported Thursday Anthony Pratt, an Australian businessman, discussed with Donald Trump about American submarines and their capabilities in relation to Russian submarines after Trump’s tenure as president.
The report said the discussion happened in April 2021.
Palm Beach County State Attorney Dave Aronberg told WPBF 25 News Trump’s alleged actions could lead to more problems for Trump, the 45th President of the United States from January 2017 until Jan. 2021.
“This new development could mean that there could be more charges from a different part of the Espionage Act,” Aronberg said.
A spokesperson for Trump responded to the report, saying the former president did nothing wrong and he “always insisted on truth and transparency, and acted in a proper manner, according to the law.”
