Trump in new donor push claims a Biden win means ‘this country will die’

In a video shared on his social media site, Truth Social, former President Donald Trump slammed President Joe Biden and asked for more donations ahead of the Oct. 15 Federal Election Commission (FEC) reporting deadline.

“He’s the most corrupt president in our history,” Trump said in his Friday night video. “He’s the most incompetent president in our history, and this country will die if we have to go through another four years of this guy.”

In his post, Trump said “after the last FEC Deadline we out raised the entire Republican field.”

In the second quarter, Trump brought in more than $35 million, significantly more than any other Republican candidate. Still, it was less than Biden’s impressive $72 million raised in the second quarter.

Trump said his supporters helped him out-raise Biden last quarter and said “it’s time to do it again.”

“We’re coming up on another FEC end-of-quarter deadline and we need to post massive numbers,” Trump said. “With your support, we will overcome the vicious attack from the deep state and big crooked Joe Biden from the White House.”

Trump pointed to inflation, energy costs and immigration in his call for donations.

“Thank you for everything you’ve done for our movement together. We will save our country, we will make America great again and we’ll start very quickly,” Trump said.
