“A Reasoned and Civil Discussion of the Trials of Donald Trump” – The Daily | Case Western Reserve University
The Open Discourse Lecture & Discussion Series will host a student discussion on the criminal and civil charges against former President Donald Trump. Polarization and the lens of partisanship make it difficult for us to address any significant political event without resorting to the easy answers that our teams demand, and partisan battles are particularly intense whenever they involve Donald Trump.
This event, titled “A Reasoned and Civil Discussion of the Trials of Donald Trump,” is for students of all political stripes to engage in a civil, rational and reasoned discussion of the laws, facts and politics surrounding the pending trials. The discussion will take place Tuesday, Oct. 24, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in Mather House, Room 100.
